question game

Post 1 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Tuesday, 14-Sep-2004 17:15:53

Hey, this is my question game. People from hotbraille would remember it. You answer the previous question, and then ask another one for the next person. So, here goes...
What is love?

Post 2 by melodica (Account disabled) on Thursday, 16-Sep-2004 18:56:44

Love is something too deep to comprehend. Love is like an ocean or a part of outer space, where humans try to get as deep as they can, but they never realise they're only scratching the surface. Love comes in many forms, like the many directions of rippling waves on an ocean. Just like a diver without the proper air supply, a person thinking they can get deep in love can hurt themselves or others they drag down with them. Yes, I know, long answer, but I had to let it out, hehe. Next question. What's the farthest place you've ever been from your home?

Post 3 by shea (number one pulse checking chicky) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 12:58:11

I would have to say the furthest I have been from home would have to be when I went to maryland for a month. What one item in your home best describes you and your lifestyle?

Post 4 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 14:07:09

My talking book player since I love to read.

Are you interested in the upcoming presidential election?

Post 5 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 14:37:45

couldn't care less...
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsy roll pop?

Post 6 by hollywood (Generic Zoner) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 16:37:27

Depends on if foreplay is a must or not. which would you rather? only being able to cry as a means of showing emotion, or laughing? to anything that made you show emotion, you could only cry or laugh, which one?

Post 7 by Telemachus (Death: the destroyer of worlds.) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 18:37:42

I would have to say laughing. But that's because I'm weird about crying openly... I'd look kinda weird though, laughing at a funeral. Which is more important to you: civil liberties or national security?

Post 8 by renegade rocker (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 17-Sep-2004 20:13:01

That's a tough one! but here's my question, if you knew that the world was gonna end in a week, what would you do with your last week on earth?

Post 9 by _rory_ (predictable kryptic) on Saturday, 18-Sep-2004 11:38:12

spend every moment with my beloved.
if you were stranded on a deserted island, who would you want to be stranded with and why?

Post 10 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 19-Sep-2004 1:00:18

Hmmm I would have to say my little group from school heehee. Small circle of close friends. I'd pick them because we all get along really well, are there for each other in thick and thin, and we all have different strengths and weaknesses. Now, for my question. Which would you rather--chocolate or vanilla?

Post 11 by shea (number one pulse checking chicky) on Sunday, 19-Sep-2004 17:53:25

Um that all depends on what I am eating. If it is cake we are talking about, I would have to say chocolate, and if it is ice cream I would choose vanilla! If you could name a star, what would you choose and why?

Post 12 by melodica (Account disabled) on Monday, 20-Sep-2004 22:39:30

If I had a long-term boyfriend, I'd name a star after him. Or maybe I'd name a star after my dad since he's been my role model in life. If I picked another name though, I'd pick Elbereth or Elentari after the Vala in The Silmarillion who was Queen of the Stars.

Post 13 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Sunday, 17-Oct-2004 17:59:56

Well there wasnt another question so i guess i'll make one...which show is better, South Park, Family Guy, or Fear Factor?

Post 14 by Star (Honorary Bitch of the Zone) on Sunday, 17-Oct-2004 18:18:43

I would choose South Park because the other 2 shows are simply stupid (especially the Fear factor). Unfortunately South Park is also degenerating. The first season was by far the best one. Now the topics are far fetched and sometimes plain boring. But I'd still watch it over the other 2. Question: What was the worst nightmare you ever had and has it have happened in real life?

Post 15 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Monday, 18-Oct-2004 8:56:18

When I was a little kid, I was very scared by reports on the news about a serial killer. So I kept having nightmares about being chased by this guy and not being able to run fast enough. I always moved in slow motion in these dreams and then fell and was sure he was about to grab me just before I would wake up.

This question is for any of you who used to have vision but no longer can see. Do you still have vision in your dreams?

Post 16 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Saturday, 15-Oct-2005 9:32:44

Post 21 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 1:23:49

Well, I know the cheesey way to answer this question, take names off of the friends list, lol, which I guess is accurate, sort of, not, maybe. WinterFresh, InternetKing, Beautiful_Dorian, God's Child, Phantom's Longlost Lover, or something? Hmm. Next question. What do you believe?

Post 22 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 4:08:18

hmmmmm, well, i believe in humanity. I believe there's something good about all of us. and i try to find it if i can.
Next question...hmmm, How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man?

Post 23 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 4:10:52

ok, i admit, that was cruel..so..um...er...here's another one.

Post 26 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 14:44:33

i'd say the egg.

in your opinion is ut better to be an adult or a child?

Post 27 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 15:08:23

hmmmmm, well, i hated being a child, i was so restricted.
if you're blind, i'd say an adult.
Now...hmmm, i've gotta stop doing this, i'm running out of ideas.
if you could have anything in the world, what would it be?

Post 28 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 15:11:49

anything in the world. hmmm....i'd say freedom to do what ever i wanted in my life and no one to watch over me.

if you could live in one country forever (with out hollidays) where would you choose|?

Post 29 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 15:29:22

who is your hero?

Post 33 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 26-Dec-2005 16:00:08

same to the next person.

Post 36 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Tuesday, 27-Dec-2005 6:41:39

hmmmmmm, do you really think the future of man kind is looking good? well, i've just answered and asked the next question.

Post 38 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Tuesday, 27-Dec-2005 14:29:05

well, i'll just make one up, since sugar killed it...hmmmmm,
are you a morning person? i'm so not!

Post 40 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Tuesday, 27-Dec-2005 20:07:50

I am definitely not a morning person, in fact I am quite a bit more successful at working nocturnally. Is the cup half full, or half empty?

Post 41 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Tuesday, 27-Dec-2005 21:27:58

always half full, always.
If you loved someone, would it matter to you if they had major differences to you, such as age or religion?

Post 42 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Wednesday, 28-Dec-2005 0:52:20

Religion, definitely not. Age, well, I guess the only reason it would matter is if that person and I would be looked down upon for being around each other and you know if it was politically incorrect and people didn't trust me for it and things like that, but that wouldn't stop me from liking that person at all. What is one day that you'll remember off of the 2005 calindar, and why?

Post 43 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Wednesday, 28-Dec-2005 6:08:33

october 16th because that is the day i had my 21st birthday and also the day that the only serious relationship i have ever had ended.
what would your last words be if you knew you were going to die?

Post 44 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 28-Dec-2005 7:54:17

god...that's a hard one.

i would say i've got all i wanted from life and enjoyed every moment.

Do you believe in the death penalty?

Post 48 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 9:03:24

yes i sure do.

what is your fave type of music?

Post 49 by alison (my ISP would be out of business if it wasn't for this haven I live at) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 11:48:49

I would have to say country. :) Which do you like more, single books or a series?

Post 50 by LP08 (Veteran Zoner) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 13:49:51

series

What would you rather do jet ski or sky dive?

Post 51 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 15:45:42

Jetski definitely. What do you hope to accomplish in the next year?

Post 52 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 16:12:37

going to england and seeing all i want to see, and completing my music corse and getting over 90%
could you kill someone if you had to, and what would force you to do so?

Post 53 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 22:59:21

Oy, I'm not sure I could, but the only thing that would force me to do so would be if he/she was going to hurt someone I really cared for. Who, if anyone, would you give up your life for?

Post 54 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Sunday, 01-Jan-2006 20:03:00

Hmmmmmm, that's a good question. it's one of those things that I guess would be easier to answer if I was in that position, however selfish that may sound, it's honesty. but I guess I would give up my life to someone who would die otherwise, at least I hope I would, because I would feel horrible and never live it down, but I don't know really, depends on the situation..that's a really good question. Okay next. What was meant to be?

Post 55 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 02-Jan-2006 8:13:02

i think that we were all meant to libve in and alongside everything else. we are not meant to be the way we are, but that is what sets us apart from animals, isn't it?
is it harder to forgive or to forget?

Post 56 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Monday, 02-Jan-2006 13:58:00

Forget, but that's just my opinion. Do you think it's better to fall instantly in love, or be friends first?

Post 57 by LP08 (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 02-Jan-2006 17:48:25

Be friends first.

Would you rather want your b/f or g/f be really shy or very outgoing?

Post 58 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Monday, 02-Jan-2006 20:20:02

Leaning towards the outgoing side, but sensitive...but shy is cute too so either way. What does it mean to be a hero?

Post 59 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Monday, 02-Jan-2006 20:27:30

mmm, that's tough. I guess to do what others are afraid to do and succeed and better things for others while doing so. What's more important, friends or family?

Post 60 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Tuesday, 03-Jan-2006 2:19:07

Hmmmmmm, that's a hard one too. I guess family because friens can leave if someone makes them mad or if they don't get along, but family members can never stop being family members if that makes any sense, and if they are loyal they will never stop caring from day one, friends take time to care. What is your message to the world?

Post 61 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Tuesday, 03-Jan-2006 16:43:37

Treat others how you would like to be treated, and always be the same person for everyone. Don't hide behind a false mask. Who is your hero?

Post 62 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Friday, 06-Jan-2006 22:15:30

I don't really know, there are many....but I guess two would be the spirit and my brother, who have shaped me and made me as I am and as I will, and as I have, etc. What's your ambition?

Post 63 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Saturday, 07-Jan-2006 1:56:40

I want to do everything I can in life to promote equality. What's your weakness?

Post 64 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Saturday, 07-Jan-2006 21:52:29

Sometimes I don't jump far enough, don't reach high enough, even if I know that what I am striving for is for the better...I fear intimacy which may get me into trouble, I have ideas and longings that I long to express, but don't....but I think the worst is the fearing intimacy. What is your strength?

Post 65 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Sunday, 08-Jan-2006 11:53:36

my strength lies in my confidence. i'm sometimes too confident for my own good.
Who are you really?

Post 66 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Sunday, 08-Jan-2006 21:32:17

I'm really a very sincere friend. The last thing I want to do is hurt someone. I'll hurt myself before hurting someone else. What is your favorite season, and why?

Post 67 by LP08 (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 14:38:05

summer because you can hang out with friends more and it isn't snowing.
If you could do anything in life or go anywhere what or where would you go?

Post 68 by bashful (professional hypocrite) on Monday, 09-Jan-2006 14:59:47

mmm, I'd go to Australia. What is your dream job?

Post 69 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Tuesday, 10-Jan-2006 4:41:02

astrophysisist. i love the stars and planets. do you believe in marrage? why or why not?

Post 70 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Monday, 16-Jan-2006 18:10:51

Well I guess I shouldn't be answereing this because I'm only fourteen and therefore probably don't even know what it feels like to want to be bound to someone for life, and to me it seems as though it would be difficult, to be closely connected to one person for life. But yes I do, for those who have that sort of integrity and devotion, something I naively can't even dream of having. What are you thinking about right now? Besides the words you're reading?

Post 71 by HauntedReverie (doing the bad mango) on Tuesday, 17-Jan-2006 5:12:49

1, the world may never know

and 2 I'd rather cry

my question now, what is your favorite name, yeah dumb question, but there you go

Post 72 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Tuesday, 17-Jan-2006 6:25:37

isis is my favourite name.

Post 73 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Wednesday, 18-Jan-2006 21:13:04

first of all my guide dog. if you had been given the power to remove something from the world, only one thing, what would it be?

Post 74 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Saturday, 21-Jan-2006 0:45:16

hmmm dunno, probably incurable hatred. what would you rather do, go out with some friends, or stay at home alone reading?

Post 75 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Saturday, 21-Jan-2006 6:23:23

stay at home alone reading! what would raver do watch a film at the odian or watch it at home?

Post 76 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Saturday, 21-Jan-2006 9:24:37

at home anyday, i can do what i like at home.
what is your biggest regret.

Post 77 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 21-Jan-2006 12:22:04

I will not tell you my biggest regret because there might be more rumours, but my second biggest is that I always give in to my parents' pressure to lose weight till I realize that I am not capable of that right now.

Post 78 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 21-Jan-2006 12:24:55

If you could turn back time, what would you do differently?

Post 79 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 10:10:18

learn to be not so trusting of others, to be more wary of people.
if you could build a time machine, where would you like to visit and why?

Post 80 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 10:26:51

I think Iwould go back in time when a guy abused me sexually and I would be stronger and show him that I am not a weak girl he could do that with.
What is your greatest fear?

Post 81 by Luce (Zone BBS Addict) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 13:07:49

My greatest fear is losing the woman I love. I know we have only been together for 15 months, and people might say that's not a very long time in the grand scheme of things, but I have this all-consuming unconditional love for her that I can't explain, and it grows with every single day that passes. More than anything I ever felt possible, it's a love which has no limits, and knows no bounds. So to lose the woman I love would leave me incomplete in ways which I could never be able to replace. I couldn't live without my soulmate, and the thought of that scares the hell out of me!
If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would you like to be, and why?

Post 82 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 13:38:47

Post 83 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 15:00:23

I hate that song but it so describes me - "don'T let me get me" from Pink. I mean I love the inside of myself but the outside ... I want to look like somebody else. Lol.

Post 84 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 15:02:53

Post 85 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 18:31:06

Well, like Inis did, I will have to say the second because otherwise rumors would be started, but probably Beautiful_Dorian. That's a hard question though because thare are sooo many of them! Hmmmmm. I can't think of anything. What do you see in the future?

is the alphabet visually impaired because it only has one i?

Post 87 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Sunday, 22-Jan-2006 22:34:52

no, this is because the alphabet is a thing that we use to write with, it is part of a language and it is thus impossible, i'm in a very serious mood today. sorry. If you were stranded on a desert island what one thing or person would you take?

Post 88 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 4:52:22

I would prefer a person. things are important but I would still be lonely. I think ... hmmm, that is a difficult one. One of the friends in my school I think. Not sure who though.
A very typical one: If you had one wish, what would it be?

Post 89 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 9:39:46

That there would be no hatred in the world. I'm not saying that people can't get angry or have disagreements, but I mean actual hatred that causes people to kill each other for the stupidest reasons. Actually, it would be great if there was no war for any reason, but I guess that's 2 wishes then? Oh well. *smiles* If you could interview any famous person in the world, who is currently living or from the past, who would it be?

Post 90 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 12:16:18

Aliyah. I would love to talk to her. But ... of course that does not work. lol.
What is most important in life for you?

Post 91 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 12:27:31

being happy in the way i choose to live my life.
what makes you happy the most?

Post 92 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 16:11:04

Being around people I like and who like and respect me (not my parents. Only my friends).

Post 94 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 25-Jan-2006 14:27:37

Daniel, I could make a comment about Spain now but I won't. I would adopt a little dog. I love puppies.

if you suffer with dead skin on your feet what should you do?

A: have a pedicure?

B: have your feet amputated at the ankles?

C: something else altogether?

Post 98 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 30-Jan-2006 14:43:14

well, i'd be inclined to go for A because it's the nicest of the options.
What is your favourite type of weather?
